Technician in the Security Field

Your New Job

As a fire and security technician, you will primarily work with the installation, service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our customers' fire and security systems. You will suggest technical solutions, system expansions, modernizations, and act as a technical support for our customers in their security systems. You will work independently on many different types of assignments and have great freedom under responsibility. No day is the same! You will be responsible for executing each assignment according to our high standards of quality and safety. Together with your team, you will contribute to the development of our deliveries.

Your main tasks will include:

• Installation and connection of security systems such as burglary alarms, access control systems, CCTV/cameras, fire or evacuation alarms.
• Resolving faults, replacing system components, updating software, and preventing operational disruptions.
• Regular checks and functional tests according to agreements, legal requirements, or standards.
• Restoring systems after operational disruptions.
• Supporting our customers in using and identifying improvements in their security systems and suggesting solutions in projects.

Your New Team

At Bravida Prenad North East Skåne, we are 110 employees working in electrical, security, and fire in smaller projects or various service assignments. We have high technical competence and collaborate with other disciplines within Bravida such as plumbing, ventilation, cooling, and automation.

We are looking for someone who has

• Experience in installation, service, or troubleshooting of fire alarms and/or security systems.
• Alternatively, relevant technical background in electricity, automation, IT, or tele/data.
• Good understanding of electrical and low-current installations.
• Driver's license (B).
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Desirable skills:

• Experience with fire alarm systems such as Schneider, Autronica, or similar.
• Experience with burglary alarms and access control systems such as SPC, Ajax System, Omnis, ARX, RCO, Integra, or similar.
• Experience with CCTV, for example, Axis cameras and VMS platforms such as Milestone.
• Knowledge of networks, IP-based systems, and basic IT troubleshooting.
• Experience troubleshooting complex systems.

As a person, you are driven, solution-oriented, and prioritize both progress and quality. You have a very good technical understanding. Since the work is largely independent, it is required that you are organized, meticulous, and have a structured approach to work.
